Myrna brings a deep passion for service excellence and a strong commitment to community to her role as President and CEO of Access. With more than 30 years of experience in the credit union system, she has held several senior leadership positions that have shaped her collaborative and member-focused approach. As CEO, she is accountable to the Board of Directors and is responsible for driving the credit union’s long-term success, financial sustainability, and commitment to serving its members.

Myrna actively participates in the credit union system and fosters strategic partnerships within the broader financial services community. As the leader of Manitoba’s largest unions, she also contributes to the provincial and national credit union systems, serving on boards of both Credit Union Central of Manitoba and the Canadian Credit Union Association.

Myrna completed the Institute of Corporate Directors Designation (ICD.D) - Rotman Director Education Program, earned her Fellow of the Credit Union Institute of Canada (FCUIC) designation through Dalhousie University, a Certificate in Management from the University of Manitoba, and both a Post Baccalaureate Diploma and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Athabasca University.

Beyond her professional role, she has been actively involved in a variety of volunteer organization boards, served on the Host Committees for provincial and national sporting events, and committed her time and leadership to the South Central Cancer Resource Board.  Myrna was appointed to the Teachers’ Retirement Allowances Fund (TRAF) Board in 2018 and serves as Chair of the Investment Committee and is a member of the Winnipeg Women’s Conference Committee. 

Kathryn Davis is President and CEO of Valley First Credit Union, one of the Central Valley’s leading financial service providers, where she is committed to delivering banking services with a purpose. As a credit union veteran, she has spent nearly 30 years working in financial cooperatives as a consumer advocate for affordable financial products, access to fair credit, and affordable housing. Her passion for financial health started during her early years in credit union marketing.

Kathryn holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University California of Riverside and a Master of Arts degree from Chapman University. She also holds a Certified Chief Executive designation through studies from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management, Cornell University, and Darden, University of Virginia.

A trusted authority on the application of neuroscience for leadership, Sandra founded the eLeadership Academy in 2012 to help credit unions worldwide build a leadership force for good. She has dedicated her career to the CU system, having served almost two decades in executive roles including VP People & Culture, COO, and acting CEO. 

Sandra holds a Master of Arts in Leadership from Royal Roads University, a Certified Executive Coach (PCC) designation, a Certificate in NeuroLeadership, and the Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) and SHRM-SCP human resource designations. Author of Your Mother Was Right: 15 Unexpected Lessons About Leadership and the Brain, Sandra supports credit union leaders through her online programs and workshops, and as associate faculty for two universities. She was a founding co-chair for the CCUA National Young Leader Committee and is a past recipient of the Canadian National CU Young Leaders Award and the WYCUP award.

Kirstin is the Vice President, Corporate Communications & Social Purpose at YNCU, bringing 16 years of experience within the credit union sector to the role. With a diverse background in marketing and communications, Kirstin is passionate about building innovative programs that deliver accessible knowledge and meaningful experiences to the communities YNCU serves.

Among her most recognized initiatives is the award-winning Shop Your Neighbourhood, along with community-based programs like Motivate 2 Skate and YNCUniversity. These efforts reflect her unwavering commitment to financial empowerment and community well-being through thoughtful, purpose-driven initiatives. In 2024, Kirstin was honoured as a National Young Leader Award recipient at the CCUA Conference and currently serves as the Vice Chair of the National Young Leader Committee.

Kirstin is a passionate advocate for the credit union sector and firmly believes in the power of community, collaboration, and social purpose. She continues to lead initiatives that promote equity, inclusivity, and impact within YNCU and across the broader cooperative landscape. Beyond her professional work, Kirstin is also a published children’s book author, having written C is for Camp: An Alphabet Adventure and Kindness Pie. 

Jordan Nairn is a Branch Manager with Libro Credit Union, with over 15 years of experience in financial services, with a focus on retail, commercial and agricultural relationships. She is the 2025 recipient of the National Young Leader Award and currently serves on the National Young Leader Committee, where she will move into the Vice‑Chair role for 2026–2027.

Jordan is passionate about people‑centered leadership, coaching and developing teams, and strengthening community impact. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics from Nipissing University, is completing a Professional Certificate in Leadership at Western University, and is currently working toward her eLead Certification, reflecting her commitment to continuous learning and the future of cooperative leadership. Outside of Libro, she is Chair of the Maitland Conservation Foundation and operating a small cow-calf operation with her wife.

Sam Portz is the SVP, Risk at Community Savings Credit Union. She has over 12 years experience in the Canadian credit union system and during that time she has collected diverse experience in governance, risk management and compliance, treasury services, government relations and advocacy. Prior to joining Community Savings, Sam held the role of Assistant Vice President of Credit Union Services at Stabilization Central where she oversaw the creation of valued resources and advisory services for BC credit unions.

Sam serves as a Trustee on the Board of Directors of the Credit Union Foundation of BC and is a recipient of the Canadian Credit Union Association’s National Young Leader Award (2022). She currently serves on the National Young Leaders Committee and is a member of the BC Emerging Leaders (BCEL) Network. Sam holds a Masters Degree in Political Science and Public Policy, Advanced Management Program Certificate from Cornell University and a Lean Blackbelt Certification in Process Improvement.

Trisha Miltimore is a leadership strategist, keynote speaker, and executive coach known for her work in Contagious Leadership — the idea that everything a leader does spreads. 

With over 25 years of experience spanning radio broadcasting, corporate leadership, and professional speaking, Trisha brings an. unique blend of stage presence, strategic clarity, and practical insight to every room she enters. She has worked with organizations across Canada in industries including finance, construction, healthcare, education, and professional services, helping leaders elevate performance through clarity, connection, and courage. 

Trisha is the creator of the CARE to Lead framework (Connection, Accountability, Recognition, Energy) and the founder of SPEAK+, a leadership communication coaching program designed to strengthen executive presence, impact and influence.
