Myrna brings a deep passion for service excellence and a strong commitment to community to her role as President and CEO of Access. With more than 30 years of experience in the credit union system, she has held several senior leadership positions that have shaped her collaborative and member-focused approach. As CEO, she is accountable to the Board of Directors and is responsible for driving the credit union’s long-term success, financial sustainability, and commitment to serving its members.

Myrna actively participates in the credit union system and fosters strategic partnerships within the broader financial services community. As the leader of Manitoba’s largest credit union, she also contributes to the provincial and national credit union systems, serving on boards of both Credit Union Central of Manitoba and the Canadian Credit Union Association.

Myrna completed the Institute of Corporate Directors Designation (ICD.D) - Rotman Director Education Program, earned her Fellow of the Credit Union Institute of Canada (FCUIC) designation through Dalhousie University, a Certificate in Management from the University of Manitoba, and both a Post Baccalaureate Diploma and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Athabasca University.

Beyond her professional role, she has been actively involved in a variety of volunteer organization boards, served on the Host Committees for provincial and national sporting events, and committed her time and leadership to the South Central Cancer Resource Board.  Myrna was appointed to the Teachers’ Retirement Allowances Fund (TRAF) Board in 2018 and serves as Chair of the Investment Committee and is a member of the Winnipeg Women’s Conference Committee. 

Lisa is the Chief Executive Officer of Your Neighbourhood Credit Union (YNCU), a role she has held since September 2024. With over 20 years of executive leadership experience across banking and insurance, Lisa brings a strong track record of strategic growth, transformation, and delivering exceptional member experiences.

She began her career in financial services as a part-time teller while attending York University and has since held progressive roles in Branch Banking, Strategy, Operations, Learning & Development, and Contact Centres. Her leadership journey includes roles at TD Bank and Coast Capital Savings, and most recently as Chief Strategy and Customer Experience Officer at Western Financial Group, where she led enterprise strategy, transformation, analytics, enablement, marketing, brand, community, and customer experience.

Having now fully returned to the credit union sector, Lisa is energized by the opportunity to lead with purpose. She recently completed her Master of Business Administration at Dalhousie University and brings a people-first approach to leadership—one rooted in community impact, collaboration, and innovation.

As CEO of YNCU, Lisa is focused on guiding the organization through a period of meaningful transformation, helping to shape a bold and sustainable future for YNCU's people, members, and communities.

Jeff joined the Canadian Credit Union Association (CCUA) as President and CEO on July 1, 2022, and represents Canada’s credit unions on the World Council of Credit Union Board (WOCCU). He is an accomplished financial services executive with a wide range of experience in financial services and leading organization-wide transformations.

Jeff began his career in retail banking as a teller at the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC). During his tenure with RBC, he held various roles with a progression of responsibilities, eventually becoming an executive team member as Vice President of Card Services.

Inspired to take on a new challenge, Jeff left RBC in late 2000 and became one of the founding executives of Moneris Solutions (Moneris). Today, Moneris is Canada’s number one payment processor and one of the largest in North America. Over his 19-year tenure at Moneris, he held multiple senior roles, including Senior Vice President of Operations and Integrations, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Sales and Marketing Officer.

During his time with Moneris, Jeff served on the MasterCard Canada, Visa International, and Discover North American Advisory Boards. He also served as an Advisor to the Canadian Professional Sales Association (CPSA) in developing competencies and curricula related to establishing a graduate degree program for sales.

Most recently, Jeff served as President and COO of Hank Payments, a Canadian start-up focused on providing tools to help consumers improve their financial well-being.

Jeff holds a Master of Management degree from McGill University, specializing in international business. An avid traveller, he has visited over 40 countries and plans to continue to explore the world.

A trusted authority on the application of neuroscience for leadership, Sandra founded the eLeadership Academy in 2012 to help credit unions worldwide build a leadership force for good. She has dedicated her career to the CU system, having served almost two decades in executive roles including VP People & Culture, COO, and acting CEO. 

Sandra holds a Master of Arts in Leadership from Royal Roads University, a Certified Executive Coach (PCC) designation, a Certificate in NeuroLeadership, and the Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) and SHRM-SCP human resource designations. Author of Your Mother Was Right: 15 Unexpected Lessons About Leadership and the Brain, Sandra supports credit union leaders through her online programs and workshops, and as associate faculty for two universities. She was a founding co-chair for the CCUA National Young Leader Committee and is a past recipient of the Canadian National CU Young Leaders Award and the WYCUP award.

Kirstin is the Vice President, Corporate Communications & Social Purpose at YNCU, bringing 16 years of experience within the credit union sector to the role. With a diverse background in marketing and communications, Kirstin is passionate about building innovative programs that deliver accessible knowledge and meaningful experiences to the communities YNCU serves.

Among her most recognized initiatives is the award-winning Shop Your Neighbourhood, along with community-based programs like Motivate 2 Skate and YNCUniversity. These efforts reflect her unwavering commitment to financial empowerment and community well-being through thoughtful, purpose-driven initiatives. In 2024, Kirstin was honoured as a National Young Leader Award recipient at the CCUA Conference and currently serves as the Vice Chair of the National Young Leader Committee.

Kirstin is a passionate advocate for the credit union sector and firmly believes in the power of community, collaboration, and social purpose. She continues to lead initiatives that promote equity, inclusivity, and impact within YNCU and across the broader cooperative landscape. Beyond her professional work, Kirstin is also a published children’s book author, having written C is for Camp: An Alphabet Adventure and Kindness Pie. 

Darren Leal is the Deputy Chief Finance Officer of Holy Redeemer Credit Union (HRCU), the largest credit union in Belize, where he has dedicated over 13 years of service to strengthening financial operations, regulatory compliance, and institutional growth. 

He currently serves as Chairman of the Shared Service Network, the system that connects credit unions across Belize to the national payment system, playing a pivotal role in advancing financial integration and innovation within the sector. 

A passionate advocate for youth and leadership development, Darren was a 2023 World Council of Credit Unions (WYCUP) Scholarship recipient. Since then, he has been actively involved in supporting and participating in Caribbean Confederation of Credit Unions (CCCU) Youth Summits, while championing the growth and empowerment of young credit union professionals in Belize. 

Beyond his professional responsibilities, Darren serves as Chairman of his community and sits on a high-level board representing rural communities in Belize, demonstrating his deep commitment to service, leadership, and national development. 

Darren is widely recognized for his strategic mindset, dedication to the cooperative movement, and his passion for building stronger, more inclusive financial systems. 

Kassandra serves as the Director of the WYCUP (World Young Credit Union Professionals) and Global DE programs for Worldwide Foundation for Credit Unions. She accepted the new role in September 2025, after working on WOCCU's Meetings and Events' team for 10 years.

A certified Credit Union Development Educator (CUDE^TM) and a PCMA certified Digital Experience Strategist (DES), Schroeder most recently worked for WOCCU as its Manager of Virtual Engagement & Special Events, but has lent her strategic vision to various WOCCU and WFCU events, including the World Credit Union Conference, since 2015.

In 2018, she spearheaded initiatives to expand to virtual programming, taking point on the development of a dedicated WOCCU Webinars online platform during the pandemic, and became responsible for managing WOCCU's virtual learning and engagement environments. 

Jordan is a Branch Manager with Libro Credit Union, with over 15 years of experience in financial services, with a focus on retail, commercial and agricultural relationships. She is the 2025 recipient of the National Young Leader Award and currently serves on the National Young Leader Committee, where she will move into the Vice‑Chair role for 2026–2027.

Jordan is passionate about people‑centered leadership, coaching and developing teams, and strengthening community impact. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics from Nipissing University, is completing a Professional Certificate in Leadership at Western University, and is currently working toward her eLead Certification, reflecting her commitment to continuous learning and the future of cooperative leadership. Outside of Libro, she is Chair of the Maitland Conservation Foundation and operating a small cow-calf operation with her wife.

Sam is the SVP, Risk at Community Savings Credit Union. She has over 12 years experience in the Canadian credit union system and during that time she has collected diverse experience in governance, risk management and compliance, treasury services, government relations and advocacy. Prior to joining Community Savings, Sam held the role of Assistant Vice President of Credit Union Services at Stabilization Central where she oversaw the creation of valued resources and advisory services for BC credit unions.

Sam serves as a Trustee on the Board of Directors of the Credit Union Foundation of BC and is a recipient of the Canadian Credit Union Association’s National Young Leader Award (2022). She currently serves on the National Young Leaders Committee and is a member of the BC Emerging Leaders (BCEL) Network. Sam holds a Masters Degree in Political Science and Public Policy, Advanced Management Program Certificate from Cornell University and a Lean Blackbelt Certification in Process Improvement.

Trisha is a leadership strategist, keynote speaker, and executive coach known for her work in Contagious Leadership — the idea that everything a leader does spreads. 

With over 25 years of experience spanning radio broadcasting, corporate leadership, and professional speaking, Trisha brings an. unique blend of stage presence, strategic clarity, and practical insight to every room she enters. She has worked with organizations across Canada in industries including finance, construction, healthcare, education, and professional services, helping leaders elevate performance through clarity, connection, and courage. 

Trisha is the creator of the CARE to Lead framework (Connection, Accountability, Recognition, Energy) and the founder of SPEAK+, a leadership communication coaching program designed to strengthen executive presence, impact and influence.
